Victorian 2.80 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1880
A Victorian old cut diamond ring of unparalleled beauty. At the centre is an impressively bright 1.50 carat old cut – certified by EGL as I colour, VS1 clarity – claw set within a surround of thirteen further old mine cuts. The stunningly and intricately carved and pieced gallery and shoulders leads to a slim D-shaped shank. Utter magnificence.

Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – I in the centre, with I to J in the surround.
Clarity – VS1 in the centre. The surrounding stones are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 1.50 carat in the centre, with a further approximate 1.30 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1880.
Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 7.81 x 6.74mm. The head of the ring is 13.5 x 12.8mm. Sits 5.5mm from the finger.
