Victorian 2.91 Carat Ruby & 2.18 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Earrings, circa 1900
A striking pair of ruby and diamond cluster earrings. Each of the rubies displays a strong pinkish red, the tone of which is emphasised by the border of twelve white and bright old cut diamonds in the surround. The finely pierced coronet gallery leads to a secure lever-back closures.

Cut – Oval cut rubies and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to J.
Clarity – The rubies are SI2. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The total approximate ruby weight is 2.91 carat, with approximately 2.18 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – Each cluster is approximately 15.5 x 12.3mm.
Metal – 14k gold. Tested.
