Victorian 3.00 Carat Opal Solitaire Ring, circa 1900
A wonderfully pretty Victorian opal ring. The oval cut opal shows ripples of green, orange, blue, and red – and is rubover set in yellow gold mount. Lovely scroll detailing on the shoulders leads to a nicely substantial D-shaped shank.
Cut – Oval cabochon.
Carat – Approximately 3.00 carat
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – The opal is 13.6 x 8.8mm and sits 5.3mm from the finger.
