Victorian 3.50 Carat Natural Burmese Sapphire Three Stone Ring, circa 1880
This really stands apart. The three old cushion cut natural Burmese sapphires are a deep and dramatic blue. The centre stone displays a slight colour change when in incandescent light, giving this impressive ring an extra twist. The stones are claw set in a hand-sawn gallery, leading to a sturdy yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Burmese (Myanmar) in origin.
