The vibrant canary yellow sapphire is the what immediately catches your eye here – and with good reason. This is a stone that is so bright you would swear it was battery powered. Fifteen high white old cut diamonds in a silver cut-back setting a leads finely pierced gallery. The grooved band holds fleur de lis style shoulders. A ring with gorgeous stones and tonnes of detail.
Cut – Oval shaped mixed cut yellow sapphire and old mine / miner cut diamonds
Colour – Diamonds are H.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to VS2. The sapphire is SI1, but totally clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 4.69 carat. The total estimated diamond weight is 0.75 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 17mm by 14.2mm and sits 10mm from the finger.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Yellow gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
