Victorian 70.64 Carat Blue Zircon Double Strand Necklace, circa 1900

A breathtaking Victorian blue zircon necklace. Comprised of 81 bright and glistening blue zircons of slightly varying shades of blue, each set within its own six claw collet. The top strand is made up of 51 stone, with a second chain of thirty stones hanging beneath. A highly impressive and very wearable piece. Secured with a box clasp.

Cut – The zircons are old round cuts.

Colour – Bright light blue to bright medium blue.

Clarity – SI1 to I1

Carat – A total approximate diamond weight of 70.64 carat.

Circa – 1900.

Measurements – 14.5 inches / 36.8 centimetres.

Metal – Stamped 9CT – 9ct yellow gold – and tests as such.
