Victorian Cat’s Eye & Sapphire Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
So quirky, and all the better for it! A trio of cat’s eye stones separated by a pair of rich and royal blue sapphires. The graduating line of gems are claw set in fine open gallery, leading to a satisfyingly sturdy D-shaped shank.
Cut – Oval shaped mixed cut sapphires.
Clarity – The sapphires are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The approximate cat’s eye weight is 0.80 carat, and the approximate sapphire weight is 0.60 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing in available, can go up or down in size.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one cat’s eye to the other is 17.6mm. The ring is 6.5mm at the widest point and sits 4.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 15k gold. Tested.
