Victorian Fancy Yellow Old Cut Diamond & Sapphire Five Stone Ring, dated 1893
A wonderful and unique Victorian half hoop ring. Set with a trio of fancy light yellow old mine cut diamonds and a pair of deep blue natural sapphires – the colours beautifully complementing each other. The gems are set in a hand-pierced yellow gold mount with grooved detailing both in the gallery and the shoulders, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308078).
Cut – Old mine cut diamonds and oval cut sapphires.
Colour – The diamonds are fancy light yellow.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI2. All the gems are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.80 carat with approximately 0.55 carat of sapphire.
Dated – 1893.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 16.5mm. The ring is 6mm at the widest point and sits 3.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Hallmarked.
