Victorian Natural Pearl & 2.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster, circa 1870
Immensely beautiful. The natural saltwater button pearl is surrounded by eight quarter carat old cut diamonds – all bright white and of high clarity – in an arresting and finely detailed mount. The hand-sawn gallery leads to diamond set fleur de lis shoulders and a grooved shank. Rare and sublime.
Accompanied by a report from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the pearl is natural saltwater (not cultured).
Cut – Old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – G.
Clarity – VS1.
Carat – Each of the eight main diamonds is gauged at 0.25 carat. The pearl has been weighed; 1.55 carat.
Circa – 1870.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 14.3mm by 14.2mm and sits 10mm from the finger.
