Victorian Natural Pearl & Old Cut Diamond Brooch, circa 1880
Desperately pretty. The central button shaped natural (not cultured) pearl is surrounded by eight old cut diamonds rubover and milgrain set in silver. The elegantly crafted wings of the brooch each hold a further natural pearl flanked by a pair of old cut diamonds.
Accompanied by a report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory (London) stating the pearl is natural, saltwater.
Cut – Old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to J.
Clarity – The diamond are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – A total approximate diamond weight of 1.00 carat
Circa – 1880.
Measurements – The brooch is 53 x 13.75mm.
Metal – 9k yellow gold and silver. Tested.
