Victorian Old Cut Diamond & Ruby Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
A delightful Victorian half hoop / five stone ring, set with three vibrant old cut diamonds and a pair of pinkish-red rubies. The stones, of graduating size, are showcased in a fine scrolling gallery leading to 18k gold shank. A fine example of a classic Victorian style.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut diamonds and round faceted rubies.
Colour – Diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The rubies are clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1; also clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total diamond weight is approximately 0.75 carat, with an estimated 0.40 carat of rubies.
Dated – 1900.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of one outermost diamond to the other is 17.4mm. The ring is 5.1mm at the widest point and sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
