Victorian Old Cut Diamond, Ruby & Sapphire Five Stone Ring, dated 1901
A super ring. The natural ruby in the centre of the band is flanked by a pair of natural sapphire and a pair of old cut diamonds. The graduating stones are claw and channel set in simple band that sits nice and low to the finger. Although perfect for stacking with other rings, this can more than hold its own if worn alone.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut diamond and round faceted ruby and sapphires.
Colour – The diamonds are I.
Clarity – All the stones are clean and clear: VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Each diamond is approximately 0.07 carat. The ruby is approximately 0.15 carat and each sapphire is approximately 0.05 carat
Dated – 1901.
Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing in available, can go up or down in size.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one sapphire to the other is 13.1mm. The ring is 5.1mm at the widest point and sits 2.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarks from the Birmingham Assay, 1901.
