Victorian Old Cut Diamond & Sapphire Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
The ideal coloured gems in a dream of ring. A pair of rich, royal blue sapphires are set between a trio of high white and lively old mine cut diamonds with four pairs of rose cut diamonds nestled between each stone. The beautifully carved gallery and shoulders leads to a simple D-shaped shank.
Cut – Round faceted sapphires with old mine cut diamonds and rose cut diamond accents.
Colour – G.
Clarity – The diamonds ares VS2 to SI1. The diamonds are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The central diamond is approximately 0.55 carat, with an overall approximate diamond weight of 1.13. Each sapphire is approximately 0.45 carat.
Circa – 1900.
Condition – Has been re-shanked (not by us).
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – From the edge of the outer most diamond to the other is 19.4mm. The ring is 5.9mm at the widest point and sits 4.7mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
