Victorian Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Double Cluster Ring, circa 1900
Achingly pretty. This lovely double daisy cluster features rubover set old cut natural rubies, surrounded by a fifteen old cuts in an fine, cutaway settings. The gorgeous “curtain” detailing in the gallery leads to a yellow gold D-shaped shank.
Cut – Old round cut rubies and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS1 to SI1 – all are clean to the naked eye. The rubies are eye clean.
Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.38 carat, with an additional approximate 0.07 carat of rubies.
Circa – 1900.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 12.3 x 7.2mm. Sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18Ct – 18k yellow gold – and tests as such.
