Victorian Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1890
This is just very lovely. With three pigeon blood red rubies inter-set with a pair of high white old cut diamonds. An open pierced gallery leads to a ornate etched shoulders on a solid D-shape shank.
Cut – Faceted round rubies and old cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The rubies are eye clean. One diamonds is VS1, the other is SI1; both are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total approximate ruby weight is 0.40 carat. Each diamond is estimated at 0.15 carat.
Circa – 1890.
Measurements – From the edge of one ruby to the other is 17.2mm. The ring is 6.2mm at the widest point and sits 3.3mm from the finger.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Stamped.
