Victorian Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
A beautiful early 20th century ring which would work equally well on its own or stacked. The three pigeon blood rubies are inter-set with a pair of old cut diamond, all bead set in platinum. The fine etching and scroll work in the gallery extends into the shoulders, leading to a fine D-shaped shank.
Cut – Old cut rubies and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are I.
Clarity – All the gems are eye clean.
Carat – Approximately 0.15 carat of diamonds and 0.25 carat of rubies.
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – The platinum top of the ring measures 16mm by 3.9mm and sits 2.9mm from the finger.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. The gems are set in platinum.
