Victorian Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1900
A fine example of a Victorian five stone ring, set here with a trio of natural unenhanced sapphires and a pair of high white old cut diamonds. The gems are interspaced with small rose cut diamonds. The intricate scrolling gallery leads to carved shoulders to a tapering D-shaped shank. Full of character, charm and beauty.
Cut – Old cut diamonds. The outer sapphire is an old faceted round, the centre is a old faceted cushion.
Colour – The diamonds are H
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2.
Carat – Approximately 0.60 carat of sapphires and 0.40 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1900.
Condition – Some abrading to the middle sapphire.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the outer edge of the outer most sapphire to the other is to the other is 16.8mm. The ring is 5.7mm at the widest point and sits 4.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
