Victorian Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, dated 1893
A striking late Victorian five stone ring, with a trio of deep blue sapphires and two high white old mine cut diamonds. The beautifully pierced gallery leads to a fine carved shoulders to a 18k yellow gold shank. A striking example of an antique classic.
Cut – Round faceted sapphires and old mine / miner cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H.
Clarity – The sapphires are eye clean. The diamonds are SI1.
Carat – A total estimated sapphire weight of 0.65 carat and an estimated diamond weight of 0.30 carat.
Dated – 1893.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – From the edge one outer most sapphire to the other is 16.2mm. The ring is 5.2mm at the widest point and sits 3.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarks from the London Assay.
