Art Deco 2.20 Carat Natural Unheated Ruby & Diamond Cluster Earrings, circa 1935
A fine and elegant pair of earrings. The natural and unenhanced rubies – most likely of Thai origin – are secured by four claws and halo-ed by a single row of twelve eight-cut diamonds. A classy pair of earrings which can worn both formally or casually. With lever-back clasps.
Cut – Oval mixed cut rubies and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The rubies are clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are VS1 to SI2 (all are clear to the naked eye).
Carat – Each of the rubies is approximately 1.10 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.48 carat
Circa – 1935.
Measurements – Each cluster is 12 x 10.5mm.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
