Georgian Ruby & Rose Cut Diamond Navette Ring, circa 1830
A gorgeous late Georgian / early Victorian marquise shaped ring. The heart of the ring is set with a stunningly bright pinkish red ruby and is surrounded by 22 rose cut diamonds. A lovely double groove to the band. Idiosyncratic, rare, unique and very, very old; quite special indeed.
Cut – Cushion shaped cabochon ruby and rose cut diamonds.
Colour – Ruby is a deep pinkish red. Diamonds are H.
Clarity – All stones are SI.
Carat – The ruby is estimated at 0.50 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carat.
Circa – 1830.
Condition – Superficial wear which you would expect on a ring this old.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The marquise shaped head of the ring measures 11.7mm by 26.8mm and sits 7.4mm from the finger.
