Mid Century Australian Opal & Brilliant Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1965

A wonderfully beautiful ring. The oval shaped Australian opal an even cream colour with flashes of red, green and blue. The central stone is held by sixteen fine rose gold claw and surrounded by sixteen colourless and clean brilliant cut diamond. The raised and detailed gallery leads to fleur de lis shoulders to a rose gold shank. Exceptional.

Colour – Diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2.

Carat – The opal is approximately 4.50 carat, with an estimated 0.80 carat total diamond weight.

Circa – 1965.

Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The opal is approximately 14mm by 10mm. The head of the ring is 19.5mm by 15.5mm and sits 5.3mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
