Vintage Soviet 5.00 Carat Synthetic Sapphire Ring, circa 1980

Such a fantastic Soviet ring. The gloriously fresh and cool blue synthetic blue sapphire is set in a quite beautiful, understated mount. The elongated oval shaped sapphire is framed in a slightly rose coloured gold, leading to flared and etched shoulders. A perfectly balanced dress ring from the USSR.

Cut – Oval shaped mixed but.
