Art Deco 0.72 Carat Old Cut Diamond Pendant, circa 1935

Supremely pretty. This vintage diamond pendant features an oval shaped old mine cut diamond which is rubover set and hangs from a stunningly intricate top which features two rubover set old European cuts which lead to a milgrained trefoil upper section set with a further five eight-cut diamonds. With a hidden bale to the reverse.

Cut – Oval shaped old mine cut in the drop. The small(er) diamonds in the main body of the pendant are eight-cuts and old European cuts.

Colour – The main diamond is M, the smaller diamonds are G to J.

Clarity – The main diamond is SI1. The smaller diamonds are VS2 to SI1.

Carat – The main diamond is 0.59 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.72.

Circa – 1935.

Measurements – From the top of the pendant to the bottom of the drop is 19.8mm. The pendants 10.9mm at the widest point

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
