Art Deco 0.70 Carat Old Cut Diamond Five Stone Ring, circa 1920
Very pretty and very wearable. Each of the old cut diamonds is secured in its own crown collet, with six claws securing the outer four stones and eight claws holding the centre. The diamonds are in platinum, to a simple and tapering yellow gold shank.
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – H to J.
Clarity – SI1 to I1; all the stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – Approximately 0.70.
Circa – 1920.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 17.8mm. The ring is 4.35mm at the widest point and sits 5mm from the finger.
Size – O (UK) or 7 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT – 18k yellow gold and platinum – and tests as such.
