Art Deco 2.32 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940
What a wonderful Art Deco diamond ring. The bright and glowing old European cut diamond in the centre – weighing in at 1.48 carat – is secured in an eight-claw coronet collet which floats within impressive, geometric setting. A further twenty old mine cuts are set in the beautifully shaped surround, with intricate cross-hatch detailing in the gallery, leading to high, diamond-set shoulders to a wide, flat shank.

Cut – Old European cut in the centre with old mine cuts in the surround.
Colour – J in the centre. The surrounding diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The centre stone is VS2. The surrounding diamonds are VS1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre is a known 1.48 carat, with a further approximate 0.84 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1940.
Size – J 1/2 (UK) or 5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The centre diamond is approximately 6.75mm in diameter. The head of the ring is 21.3 x 13.3mm and sits 8.8mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
