Art Deco 4.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Line Necklace, circa 1930
Desperately, desperately beautiful. The line of thirty-one graduating old cut diamonds are each individually set in open back rubover collets. All the diamonds are exceptionally well matched, displaying a soft champagne tone and an incredible amount of life and sparkle. An absolute show-stopper.
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – M.
Clarity – Between VS1 and SI1. All the stone are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.70 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.00 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Condition – There has been a repair on the link between the central diamond and the one to its left where the link has fused.
Measurements – The largest diamond is, including the rubover setting, 5.5mm in diameter. The necklace is 16 inches.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
