Art Nouveau Kite Cut Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1910
An exquisite piece. The kite shaped step-cut sapphire, a deep and dramatic blue, is rubover set in yellow gold. The sharp lines of the centre stone contrasts with the sweeping and elegant diamond surround, with sixty-five diamonds are pavé and rubover set in platinum. On a beautiful split shouldered yellow gold band.
