Early 20th Century 0.35 Carat Old Cut Diamond Gypsy Style Ring, dated 1917

A gypsy / gentleman’s ring in a style associated with the Victorian age, but crafted in 1917 (with marks from the London Assay). The bright and lively old mine cut diamond is secured by four double claws leading to sturdy D-shaped 18k gold shank. Would make a fantastic non-traditional engagement ring.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine / miner cut.

Colour – G.

Clarity – VS1.

Carat – Approximately 0.35.

Condition – Two scratches to the surface of the diamond, visible with a loupe but not to the naked eye.

Dated – 1917.

Size – R 1/2 (UK) or 8 7/8 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The band is 3.2mm at the base, widening to 7.5mm. Sits 4.1mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. Hallmarks. (London).
