Late 20th Century 6.53 Carat Colour Change Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1975

Item #: 57AB1217.

A mesmeric colour change sapphire. The dark, hypnotic sapphire glows with a green undertone in incandescent light and with a bluer tone in daylight. This beautiful and unusual stone is secured in an 9k yellow gold setting formed of two wire shanks and a wire “horseshoes” in shoulders.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30308113).

Cut – Oval cabochon cut.

Colour – Deep bright blue / green.

Clarity – VVS.

Carat – 6.53.

Circa – 1975.
