Mid Century 0.95 Carat Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1950
A stunning vintage sapphire ring. The oval cut sapphire in the centre displays a strong, vivid and bright blue. The stone is secured in a milgrained rubover setting and surrounded by fourteen old cut diamond in white gold rubover settings. A simple split gallery leads to a slim and tapering yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cut sapphire and old cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The sapphire is VVS. The diamonds are SI1 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 0.95 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.21 carat.
Circa – 1950.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 12 x 10m and sits 5mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT – 18k white and yellow gold – and tests as such.
