Retro 9.10 Carat Natural Sapphire & 5.03 Carat Diamond Ring, circa 1950

This monumental Retro sapphire and diamond cluster ring is unapologetically bold and big. A large natural and unheated sapphire of a rich, strong blue sits at the centre of the cluster, with an incredible 222 baguette cut, tapered baguette cut and eight-diamonds in the surround and running down the shoulders. Undeniably, this is a masterpiece.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar. Also accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire. The diamonds are baguette cuts, tapered baguette cuts and eight-cuts.

Colour – The diamonds are H to J.

Clarity – The sapphire is VS (loupe clean). The baguettes cut are VS1 to VS2. The eight cuts are VS1 to SI1.

Carat – The sapphires is a known 9.10 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.03 carat.

Circa – 1950.

Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. There is some limit to how much this can be adjusted, so please contact first if you would need the ring sized.

Weight – 30.6 grams

Measurements – The sapphire is 13.54 x 8.12m. The head of the ring is 29.1 x 24.6mm. Sits 15.5mm from the finger.
