Victorian 3.00 Carat Green Sapphire & 3.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Brooch, circa 1900
A wonderful and impressive Victorian brooch. Set at the centre is a slightly cushion shaped sapphire which displays a bright, olive-y green. The stunning, swirling surround is set with 64 white and bright old cut diamonds in finely grained yellow gold. Secured to the rear with a pin and trombone clasp.

Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds range from F to I.
Clarity – The sapphire is VVS. The diamonds are VS2 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 3.00 carat, with approximately 3.50 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1900.
Measurements – The brooch is 39.7 x 39.9mm.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Tested.
