Art Deco 0.40 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire Stud Earrings, circa 1920

A fine pair of sapphire stud earrings. Each of the natural, unheated cushion cut sapphires displays a rich, deep indigo blue. The stones are set in milgrained platinum with the rest of the earring crafted in 18k yellow gold. With yellow push-back (butterfly) settings.

Cut – Cushion cuts.

Clarity – Both sapphires are eye clean

Carat – Each sapphire is approximately 0.20 carat.

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – One earring is 4.5 x 4mm, the other is 4.5 x 4.2mm

Metal – 18k gold. The edge of the rubover setting is platinum. Tested.
