Art Deco 0.48 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A beautiful vintage engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is bright, white and full of fire. The stone is secured in a six-claw coronet collet with six (three each side) eight cut diamond in the high shoulders. Striking ‘S’ shaped cheniers under the shoulders lead to a slender platinum shank. Pure class.
Accompanied by a Natural Diamond Grading Report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182428).
Cut – Old mine cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders).
Colour – H (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.48 (with a further approximate 0.06 carat in the shoulders).

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.5 x 4.8mm. Sits 5.6mm from the finger.
