Art Deco 0.50 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A spectacular vintage engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre is impressively white and virtually alive with fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a six claw coronet collet, between high, yellow gold shoulders set with a further eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds. With shaped marquise detailing at the top of the slim D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Clarity – SI1 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.50 (with a further approximate 0.01 carat in the shoulders).

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 4.9mm in diameter. Sits 5.8mm from the finger.
