Art Deco 0.52 Carat Diamond & Emerald Ring, circa 1940
A truly exceptional piece of jewellery. The stunning vintage emerald and diamond ring features a pure white old European cut in the centre, secured in an open four claw collet above a scalloped back plate. Twelve bright green specially cut emeralds radiate from the centre stone, within a border of twenty-two old and eight-cut diamonds, above a fine hand-carved under-gallery. On a slim 18k white gold shank.

Cut – Old European cut in the centre, with old cut and eight-cut diamonds in the surround. The emeralds are a mix of tapered baguettes and trilliant cuts.
Colour – The centre diamond is F, with F to G diamonds in the surround.
Clarity – The centre diamond is SI1, with VS2 to SI1 diamonds in the surround. The emeralds are loupe clean.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 0.30 carat, with a further total (approximate) 0.22 carat of diamonds in the surround. The total approximate emerald weight is 0.60 carat.
Circa – 1940.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 17 x 11.9mm and sits 6.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold and platinum. French hallmarks.
