Art Deco 0.78 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
An incredible old cut engagement ring. The cushion shaped diamond in the centre is secured in a four claw collet with stunning geometric detailing in the gallery. Milgrained, reverse tapering shoulders are set with eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds of graduating size to a fine platinum shank. Stunningly crafted.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – J (the diamonds in the shoulders are H to J).
Clarity – VS2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.78 in the centre (with a further approximate 0.13 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1925.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 5.7 x 5mm and sits 6.35mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped PLAT – platinum – and tests as such.
