Art Deco 1.02 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
An Art Deco ring of real class. The old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by IGI and J colour, SI1 clarity – is impressively bright and lively. The stone is secured in an eight-claw coronet collet and flanked on either side by icy white baguette cut diamonds. Spear-shaped shoulders lead to a slim D-shaped shank.

Cut – Old European cut in the centre with baguette cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – J in the centre (G to H in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI1. (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 1.02 (with an additional approximate 0.30 carat in the shoulders.)
Circa – 1940.

Measurements – The centre diamond is 6.53 x 6.38mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
