A glorious old mine cut diamond, mounted simply and sympathetically this in a fine Art Deco period ring. The cushion shaped diamond – graded by IGI Antwerp as G colour, VS1 clarity – is dazzlingly white, internally clean, and fizzing with life and fire. The stone is set laterally on the finger and secured by four split-claws in a platinum collet with subtle “V” detailing in the gallery, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
