Just the most beautiful vintage engagement ring, The centre stone – graded by EGL Platinum as E colour, SI2 clarity – is dazzlingly white and, despite the low clarity grading, clean to the naked eye and full of fire and brilliance. The stone is set in a wonderfully impressive setting: an eight claw platinum collet featuring kite-shaped detailing in the gallery, and shield-shaped shoulders set with fourteen (seven each side) eight-cut diamonds and a pair of baguette cuts, leading to a slender platinum shank.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from EGL (#2151014620).
Cut – Old European cut in the centre with eight-cuts and baguette cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – E (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders). All the stones are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 1.40 in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.20 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1920.
Size –N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 7.03 x 6.95mm. Sits 6.3mm from the finger.
