An utterly stunning sapphire. The natural, unheated stone is the perfect cornflower blue, and glows as if electrically charged. The central stone is halo-ed by fourteen high white old cut diamonds in simple U-gallery, leading to a tapering white gold shank. Simply stunning.
Accompanied by a Sapphire Report from Gemmological Certification Services stating the sapphire is natural and unheated, from Burma.
Cut – Oval shaped mixed cut sapphire and old cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity – The sapphire is SI1. The diamonds range from VS1 to SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.70 carat, with an estimated diamond weight of 0.42 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 11.7mm by 10.1mm and sits 5.1mm from the finger.
