A gorgeous and beautifully balanced sapphire and diamond ring. The cushion shaped sapphire – certified as natural and unheated – displays a bright purplish blue. Claw set in platinum, the sapphire is flanked on either side by white and bright brilliant cut diamonds set in milgrained box settings, leading to a slim D-shaped shank
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with round brilliant cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is SI. The diamonds are SI1.
Carat – The centre sapphire is a known 1.77 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.04 carat.
Circa – 1945.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.99 x 5.72mm and sits 4.9mm from the finger.
Metal – The band is stamped 18CT. The sapphire and diamonds are set in platinum (tested).
