Art Deco 2.04 Carat Natural Green Sapphire & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1940
A gorgeous unheated green sapphire and diamond ring. The beautiful and unique sapphire in the centre displays a bright yellowish green, and is claw set in platinum within a surround of ten old European cut diamonds in platinum rubover settings. Lotus-leafed shaped detailing in the 18 white gold gallery, leads to a slim white gold shank. An impressive, one of a kind sapphire cluster ring.
Accompanied by a gemstone report from C. Dunaigre (Switzerland) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating.
Cut – Round cut sapphire with old European cut diamonds.
Colour – The sapphire is yellowish-green. The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.04 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.50 carat.
Circa – 1940.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 7.32 x 7.34mm. The head of the ring is 14.4 x 13.8mm and sits 8mm from the finger.
