Art Deco 2.50 Carat Cabochon Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940
A sleek and silky natural cabochon sapphire takes centre stage in gorgeous cluster ring. The centre stone is rubover set in silver with eighteen eight-cut diamonds in the surround. A nicely pierced gallery leads to a slim, tapering yellow gold shank.
Cut – Oval cabochon sapphire and eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – Diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – The sapphire is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1 to SI3; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 2.50 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.54 carat.
Circa – 1940.
Measurements – The head of the ring 15.25 x 13mm. Sits 7mm from the finger.
