Art Deco 2.71 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
A proper rock! This wonderfully well proportioned old European cut diamond is perfectly showcased in this French, late Deco mount. The stone is secured in an eight-claw coronet collet which sits nice and low to the finger, leading to a slim D-shaped shank set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from EGL (#1960003322).
Cut – Old European cut (with eight-cuts in the shoulders).

Clarity – SI2 (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders).
Carat – 2.71 (with an additional approximate 0.06 carat in the shoulders.)
