Art Deco 3.13 Carat Natural Ceylon Sapphire Ring, circa 1930

A breathtaking Art Deco sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural, unheated and originating from Ceylon – displays a glowing, bright cornflower blue. The sapphire is secured in a four-claw collet with buckle shaped, diamond set shoulders above cheniers, to D-shaped platinum shank.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Sri Lankan (Ceylon).
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is 3.13 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.12 carat.
Circa – 1930.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.7 x 7.1mm and sits 6.1mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
