Art Deco Old Cut Diamond & Ruby Half Hoop Ring, circa 1925
A fine and exceptionally wearable half hoop ring. The five old mine cut diamonds, of graduating size, are mounted in milgrained box settings with pairs of step-cut rubies. The stones are secured in white gold with a lovely, understated work in the gallery leading to a slim and tapering yellowing gold shank.
Cut – Old mine cut diamonds and square step cut rubies.
Colour – The diamonds are G.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1. The rubies are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.70 carat. The total approximate ruby weight is 0.40 carat.
Circa – 1925.
Measurements – From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 22.8mm. The ring is 5.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.3mm from the finger.
Size – P (UK) or 7.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. There is some limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us if you would need the ring sized.
Metal – 18k gold. Tested.
