Art Nouveau Natural Pearl & Old Cut Diamond Ring, circa 1910
A truly exceptional Art Nouveau ring. The pearl in the centre – certified as natural (not cultured) – displays an impressive lustre and is showcased in a quite breathtaking settings. The exquisitely crafted surround features twelve old cut diamond set within a finely vented and milgrained platinum gallery. A further two (smaller) diamonds are set in a platinum shoulders, leading to a slender yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the pearl is natural, saltwater.
Cut – Old mine cuts.
Colour – H to I.
Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The total approximate diamond weight is 0.78
Circa – 1910.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The pearl is approximately 6.4 x 7.6mm. The head of the ring is 19.7 x 11.7 and sits 7.75mm from the finger.
Metal – 14k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
