Edwardian 0.51 Carat Sapphire & 0.50 Carat Diamond Crossover Ring, circa 1905
A beautifully balanced antique sapphire and diamond ring. The near identically dimensioned gems are both best in class; a glowingly white old mine cut diamond set across from a natural, unheated cushion cut blue sapphire. Both stones are set in eight claw platinum coronet collets set either side of an elegantly sweeping 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30310574).
Cut – Old mine cut diamond and cushion cut sapphire.
Colour – The diamond is G.
Clarity – The diamond is SI1.
Carat – Both stones have been out and weighed: the diamond is 0.50 carat, the sapphire 0.51 carat.
Circa – 1905.

Measurements – Each stone is approximately 4.75 v 4.4mm. Sits 5.1mm from the finger.
