Edwardian 0.84 Carat Opal & 0.80 Carat Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1910
A spectacularly beautiful antique opal and diamond cluster ring. The opal in the centre – rubover set in milgrained 18k yellow gold – has a bright white background colour and displays a good play of colour. The centre is surround by eight nice and chunky old mine cut diamonds in platinum rubover settings, with sweeping curtain detailing in the gallery. On a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Oval cabochon opal and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds range from F to H.
Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to SI2.
Carat – The opal is approximately 0.84 carat, with an approximate diamond weight of 0.80 carat.
Circa – 1910.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 15.3 x 13.6mm and sits 4mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped 18CT PLAT indicating 18k yellow gold and platinum, and tests as such.
